"Everyone who coughs or sneezes should watch this movie."

- Ben Lounsbury, MD

Are you or people you know still coughing and sneezing into your hands? Yuck! Most of us were taught to cough and sneeze into our hands, but this behavior spreads germs from hands to doorknobs, telephones, other people, and who knows where else. In fact, this type of behavior enables the rapid spread of germs that cause seasonal flu, swine flu and bird flu.

Proper respiratory etiquette can prevent countless people from getting sick each year. This five minute video is just the tool to teach everyone to cover their coughs with their clothes, not their hands.

The hilarious video effectively conveys the seriousness of proper coughing technique while entertaining and teaching audiences of all ages. The dos and don'ts of cough etiquette are clearly outlined in a series of examples. Schools, hospitals, nursing homes, offices, power plants, military bases and public health districts throughout the US and Canada have utitized Why Don't We Do It In Our Sleeves to help prevent the spread of germs.

The Deluxe Edition III version includes Spanish, French, Mandarin and American Sign Language to make the video accessible to a large population (watch clips in each language by clicking on the language). Watch the entire English version here.

Why don't you give it a try? For more ideas on how to use this video, check out what people are saying.
